SP Flash Tool V6 is an application that primarily assists with flashing Stock ROMs, custom recoveries, and fixing issues in extreme cases (such as firmware updates, recovery flashing, and unbricking bricked Android devices). SmartPhone FlashTool is compatible with MediaTek Android smartphones (MTK-based). You can download SP FlashTool from our download section. To use it, load the scatter file for your MTK-based device.
Basic Guide for SP Flash Tool:
- Download and unzip the package.
- Open the SPFLASHTOOL EXE and load the scatter file (click Scatter Loading).
- Uncheck all the boxes.
- Go to or click the RECOVERY box from the list and load the recovery image according to your device/choice (load the image from the separate window and click open).
- Now you can see the RECOVERY box is checked, and you can view the recovery image location (uncheck all other boxes).
- Switch off your smartphone.
- Connect the device and click on the “DOWNLOAD” button on top (not the tab). If it asks, click on “yes”.
- It’s done! MTK FlashTool will do the rest. If you encounter any problems with flashing utility or drivers, install MediaTek USB drivers from our links.
- After a successful run, you will be prompted with a green circle. Congratulations! You have successfully flashed your MediaTek Android smartphones with SP Flash Tool.
