Hard Reset ALLVIEW P42

ALLVIEW P42 Hard Reset is a device reset to factory settings. This operation deletes all data, settings, passwords and applications in the memory device. How to hard reset ALLVIEW P42?

  1. In the first step switch off the mobile by pressing the Power key for a couple of seconds.
  2. After that hold down Volume Up and Power buttons together for a short while.
  3. Release all buttons when Boot Mode pops up.
  4. In this mode choose “Recovery” by using Volume Up to navigate and Volume Down to confirm that.
  5. If Android Robot appears press Volume Up + Power key again.
  6. In this mode choose “wipe data/factory reset” by using Volume keys to scroll down and the Power button to accept it.
  7. Then select “Yes–delete all user data” with the Power key.
  8. Finally choose “reboot system now” by using the Power button.
  9. Good job!
