Hard Reset OVERMAX NewBase 2

OVERMAX NewBase 2 Hard Reset is a device reset to factory settings. This operation deletes all data, settings, passwords and applications in the memory device. Hard Reset operation is most commonly used to repair a damaged or malfunctioning equipment or deletion of user data before the sale. Hard Reset operation will wipe all data, bypass screen lock and restore device software to factory state.

How to hard reset OVERMAX NewBase 2?

  1. In order to perform this operation, you have to turn your OVERMAX NewBase 2 off, so hold down Power Key for a few seconds to do that.
  2. Once your device is completely turned off, you should hold down Power Key + Volume Up for about 5 seconds to enter Recovery Mode.
  3. After you enter Recovery Mode, you have to select option “wipe data/factory reset” from it, using Volume Keys to navigate to it and Power Key to select it.
  4. Next you should confirm this operation by selecting option “Yes — delete all user data”.
  5. Wait for a couple of seconds till data wipe completes, and then select option “reboot system now” to restart your device.
  6. After a couple of minutes, your OVERMAX NewBase 2 will be restarted, and that’s it.
