How to Install Firmware for Lenovo Smart Display 7 CD-17302F:
- Bootloader Unlock:
- You’ll need a USB A to USB C cable.
- Install fastboot drivers on your PC.
- Unplug the power cable from your device.
- Remove the silicone cover around the power plug to reveal the USB-C port.
- Plug the USB C cable into the USB-C port.
- Hold the volume + button and plug in the power cord.
- Keep holding volume + for about 10-15 seconds until the device boots to fastboot.
- Run the following command in a terminal on your computer:
fastboot flashing unlock.
- AVB/DM-Verity Unlock:
- Extract the downloaded AVB unlock zip.
- Run either the
avb-unlock.bator the commandat_auth_unlock.exe creds\\in a terminal. - Wait until it finishes.
- Note that the stock system does not boot properly with AVB off.
- Firmware Flashing:
- Once AVB is unlocked, you can flash the firmware/partitions from fastboot using the flash-all scripts located in the firmware zips.
